Kibiri
Bug reports, feature requests and privacy questions are all welcome.
Thanks for getting in touch. We read every message and will reply by email.
Where are my photos sent?
Nowhere. Kibiri reads and judges your photos entirely on your iPhone. See the Privacy Policy.
Why does Kibiri ask for full access to my photos?
To find which original an edited photo came from, Kibiri has to compare it with the rest of your library.
With limited access it can’t see the originals, so it can’t link edits to their originals.
Will Kibiri change or delete my photos?
No. Kibiri never edits, moves or deletes photos. It only keeps links between them.
The first scan is taking a long time.
The first scan reads every photo on your iPhone, so it can take a while with thousands of photos.
The scan only runs while Kibiri is open, so keep the app on screen until it finishes (the screen stays on during the scan).
If you close the app, nothing is lost: the scan picks up where it left off the next time you open Kibiri.
Your sessions appear once the photos have been read, before every edit is matched.
Shoots that are still being matched with their edits are shown faded, and they brighten from the newest shoots down.
Later scans only look at new or changed photos.
Some photos aren’t read, or their original isn’t found.
Kibiri only reads photos whose original is stored on your iPhone. It never downloads photos from iCloud,
so if you use “Optimize iPhone Storage”, photos kept only in iCloud can’t be read or linked to their original.
You can see how many in Kibiri under Settings → Scan status (“Photos not on this device”).
Photos that were already in your library before you started aren’t asked about in To Do;
you can find them under Settings → “Photos not identified as camera photos” and answer only the ones you know.
Once a photo’s original is back on your iPhone, the next scan reads it.
My personal photos show up in To Do.
Kibiri groups every photo you take into sessions, including ones that aren’t treatments.
Tap “Not a treatment” on the card and it goes away; the photos aren’t deleted.
The shoot also disappears from the Photos tab and moves to Settings → “Not-treatment shoots”. Right after you tap, Kibiri tells you where it went and lets you undo.
If you take more photos in the same session later, the card comes back so you can check it.
To bring a shoot back, open it from that list and tap “Mark as a treatment”, or just choose a model or staff member.
How do I keep my records when I delete the app or get a new iPhone?
Open Settings → Export Records and save the file somewhere safe (for example the Files app).
On the new iPhone, after the first scan, open Settings → Import Records and choose the file. Importing replaces the records on that iPhone.
Photos are not in the file; Kibiri matches your records to the photos in your library on the next scan.
Kibiri linked a photo to the wrong original.
Open the photo, tap “About this photo”, then “Choose source again” and pick the right one. Kibiri remembers your answer.
If it keeps happening, please tell us using the form above.
Does Kibiri send notifications?
Only if you turn them on, in Settings → Notifications (they are off by default; iOS asks for permission when you turn them on).
If you don’t open Kibiri for 3 days, you get one notification as a reminder to open it; opening the app cancels it.
It is not repeated, and it has no counts or badge. Kibiri doesn’t scan in the background, so new photos are only scanned once you open the app.
The notification is created on your iPhone; nothing is sent anywhere. If you denied permission, allow it in the iPhone’s Settings app.
How do I cancel my Kibiri Pro subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Kibiri Pro.
You can also tap “Manage Subscription” on the Kibiri Pro screen in the app (Settings → Kibiri Pro).
Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge; you keep Pro until then.
How do I restore my purchase?
On a new iPhone, or after reinstalling, open Settings → Kibiri Pro in the app and tap “Restore Purchases”.
Use the same Apple ID you bought with. If nothing is found, check that you are signed in with that Apple ID, then contact us using the form above.
What happens to my records if my subscription ends?
Nothing is deleted. The names and assignments you entered stay readable. Without Pro, the free limits apply again
(up to 10 models and 1 staff member): if you are over a limit, you can still read everything, but adding people or changing assignments needs Pro.
Judging photos, viewing edit histories and finding a photo’s source are free either way.
How do I send a problem report?
In Kibiri, go to Settings → Report a Problem, create the report file, then tap Send by Email. The email is addressed for you
and the file is attached as a single zip. You can read it and add a note about what went wrong before you send it; nothing is sent
automatically. The file contains results and photo attributes only — no images and no names. If your device can’t send
email, the app shows the address so you can copy it and send the file from another app.
