Kibiri | Last updated: October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Kibiri (the “App”) handles your information. In short: the App does not collect any data, and your photos never leave your device.
None. The App has no account and no server. It does not use analytics, advertising or tracking, and it does not send your photos, your records or anything about how you use it to us or to anyone else. Purchases are handled by Apple (see “Purchases” below).
If you turn on notifications in the App’s Settings, the App schedules one reminder notification on your device for when you haven’t opened it for a few days. It is created on your device by iOS; the App does not use push notifications and sends nothing to us or to anyone else.
The App asks for access to your photo library so it can work out which edited photos came from which original. It reads your photos and their attributes (such as when a photo was taken, its file name and whether it was edited), and it compares images to each other. All of this happens on your device.
Names you enter for models and staff, which session they belong to, and your answers to the App’s questions are stored only on your device, inside the App. They are also shared with the App’s own Share extension on the same device, so it can show you a photo’s edit history. Like other app data, they can be part of a device backup you make. Deleting the App deletes them. If you choose Settings → Export Records, the App saves them to a file in the place you pick (for example the Files app or AirDrop); the file contains the names you entered but no photos. The App never sends this file anywhere by itself.
When you share a photo to Kibiri from the Photos app, the extension uses it on your device to find the matching photo in your library and shows its edit history. The shared image is not saved and not sent anywhere.
If something goes wrong, you can create a report file in the App (Settings → Report a Problem). It contains the App’s results and photo attributes (such as dates, file names and whether a photo was edited). It does not contain any images, or the names of models or staff.
The file is only sent when you send it yourself by email from the App (the email opens in your own mail app, addressed to us, and you can review it before sending). The App never sends it on its own. If you send it to us, we use it only to look into your problem, and we delete it when we no longer need it for that.
Kibiri Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment, billing and subscription management. The App never sees or stores your payment details or your Apple ID. It only asks Apple’s StoreKit, on your device, whether you have an active subscription, and we have no server, so we receive no information about your purchase. Apple’s own terms and privacy policy apply to purchases.
We do not sell or give your information to anyone. Because the App does not collect any, there is nothing to share.
We may update this Policy. If we make a significant change, we will announce it in the App or on this page.
